When plants, animals and fishes are made illegal to own in the United States, it is because they pose a threat in some way, to the environment. Virtually never will the government abolish a law that has been made regarding these sorts of issues. Virtually never does the government abolish any law, actually. I think the only way that the government would allow the keeping of a previously outlawed plant or animal would be if human beings showed the restraint and respect necessary to prove to the government that they would not release these things into the wild endangering our environment. This, of course, will never happen because humans beings just aren't this trustworthy and decent. So, the answer is 99.999999999999999999% chance of never.

Are you talking about the fish?? My ex-husband has had 4 or 5 of them over the past 15 years, the pet stores get them in around March or April. They don't seem to live very long, they get to be about 15-20 inches and then stress out and die...
