The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.

Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

I have found several legitimate work at home sites so far, and one of them made me $494+ in October, $700+ in November, and $838.57 in December. They are free to join.

Please click my screen name or avatar for more information and a link for proof of payment. There is a lot of information on my blog and I'd be glad to answer any questions you have.

And by the way--never join a work at home program that wants you to pay up front. If they were making that much money, they wouldn't need to charge you.

I found them personally to be quite a rip off because every time I would want to complete a survey to make money there was an ad STUCK in the middle of ea. survey in which you had to give out all this personal info &/or purchase just to get on to the next page of the survey!! It was a big waste of time, and I got spammed to death in my emails, it was awful. I knew it was a re*arded thing to do, should't of done it. don't do it!! u'll end up being sorry believe me. i'm getting that one thing disputed OFF my visa too. Those are just a bunch of blood sucker scam artists out there who have nothing better to do than rip people off because those people don't know how to work--the one's scamming vulnerable peeps who need real cash. save ur time and energy. forget about it. sell on ebay or something

Most of these 'take surveys' sites are nothing but a waste of your time. Number one most of them do not pay you with real money in real time!!!! If you are lucky at all, you get entered into a monthly sweepstakes. (Can't pay electricity bill or for your internet connection with this!!!) Number two you have to qualify to participate based on your demographic profile. (More chances than not you don't qualify) Third, they offer you the chance to 'try free services or gifts (like a computer or I-pod) only if you join for a free trial.... for a fee....kinda confusing right? Plus who needs the extra added worry of spam or virus infection on your computer. You best bet is to explore opportunities, based on your skills thru job agencies and networking if you are looking employment or an extra income. Or you can look into working for yourself on-line. Do your research tho....I've been working with a company that allows you to work at home using your computer, set your own hours, with minimum investment...I would like to share this info with you, but yahoo doesn't like for us to share links...you can e-mail me for details, if you are interested. Hey, no matter what good luck in your search.

thye dont. they are all basically a scam. You fill out tons of surveys you get your PC infected with spyware and you get a check for $10 if you are lucky.
