There is never one absolute quality we feel essential in a mate. A well rounded mate has integrity, is spiritual, exhibits compassion in the proper moment, and clearly understands their responsibilty to mate, family and self.

My mate simply 'loves me totally' and I love him totally ... but we also share the same 'religious belief' and are 'equally spiritual' but the 'same religion' came AFTER we got married, and we have always been 'equally spiritual' ... and it must WORK because we've been married ten years now and still 'love each other' as much as we did the day we started our 'relationship' ...
