I use lotion a lot, and I know a lot of white women/girls who use it, but I don't know a lot of guys who do. Maybe it's just because they're insecure guys who like to make fun of people.

I use lotion religiously. If not, I dry out like a raisin. As I've read in previous answers, white people do get ashy, but the lighter the skin, the less noticeable the ashiness is.

Yes we do. After we shave our legs, we get ashy and we just put a little lotion to put back in the moisture and look smooth & feel soft again.

I use lotion everyday, everywhere. I just got my husband to start using lotion as well- his face is very dry and peels. He doesn't like the way it feels, so he hadn't used it before I gave him some. His hands and elbows get dry and cracked as well.

Yes, we use lotion. I didn't so much until I got older, now I have to regularly in the winter, especially on my lower legs.
Don't mind what those jive-*** turkeys were calling you. Our skin dries out just like yours, but you just can't see the flakes as easily.

Sure
It's used to moisturize the skin. Maybe ashy is more noticeable on black skin, but white people get "dry" looking too.

Of course we use lotion. My husband uses more than I do because his skin gets drier than mine, and that's saying a lot.
