The midget hanging is a myth. But Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon" synched with the movie? It really works at spots. i.e. when Dorothy opens the door after the tornado and it's in color. That was the first color movie and the most expensive at the time. If done right, the song "Money" starts playing at exactly when the door opens. There other things like that....
