ronaldo coming to milan is a perfect choice for many reasons. many people fear of the brazilian coming to milan after the what happened with rivaldo but the difference here is that ronaldo knows the city and the style of the italian game after playing with the rival team inter. although he is not in the best of shape i think the move to italy will help him physically as well as mentally. hopefully ronaldo can make goals in milan which is something our team is lacking. my favorite teams are milan and manchester united. favorite players Pippo and Ka Ka

I think it's a decent transfer. Milan has a ton of cash from the Sheva deal. But they have Inzaghi, another old guy, with experience who, like Ronaldo, just stands around until the ball is played into him. One of the things that escapes me is that Sheva was such a versatile player in the final third, always looking for the ball and always bringing it forward when he the team needed him to. But there's no way Olivera, Gilardino, Inzaghi, or even Ronaldo can be expected to do that (at least not at Ronaldo's age now).

I live in the US and I support Boca Juniors. My Dad immigrated to the US in '69 from Buenos Aires and has passed his passion of football onto me. My English team is Leeds, still, even though they frustrate. My Italian team is AC Milan.

Personally, I think Milan should've spent the money on a top notch GK. Dida is DONE. The back line is old and injury prone. The fullbacks can't get forward anymore. They should've been more judicious about the money from the Sheva deal and filled in the holes. But of course Ronaldo could always become something of a psychological pick up for the team.

I think the winner in this transfer will only be Ronaldo. Milan need to buy a big name to placate the fans this season. Ronaldo himself is past his best and will not play regularly, but he will be paid handsomely for his efforts. This transfer reminds me a lot of Christian Vieri's move to AC Milan - a lot of hype, probably a lot of shirts sold, but v. few goals. Don't expect him to see him at AC Milan at the beginning of next season...

That's really good for Ronaldo but not for Milan. I still have a hope that he won't be transfered to Milan but it's almost sure. Now he's watching Milan-Roma on San Siro with Adriano Galiani. That's not a good transfer

why to buy an old striker when u already have one ?? inzaghi that is

he played well at inter...but he has past his prime...he can tear apart any defence line..but not now..olivera is not impressive...so milan shuld have spent on an established striker..by established i mean strikers like klose,villa..who are currently playing good football..
even rudd is playing better than ronaldo..so whats the point ?? how long he's gonna last in milan ?? max 2 years..and he is going to spend most of his time on bench...just because gila starts in every match..n ronaldo is not like del piero..who can come late in game and score winning goal..

it extremely relies upon how he fares any further. If he can make a huge difference for Milan, then convinced. in the different case, i believe his better bypass became to stay in Madrid or perchance even retire. in case you could't make a huge difference, in case you could't play the game, in case you could't make a contribution some thing on your crew; only depart and resources that threat to another participant.

There is only one Ronaldo lol, the other one is a gimp.

I'd as Ronaldo as the he was prolific in several leagues and at the highest stand in Europe, a lot of Romarios stats are based off playing in Brazil.
For example Romario goal rate was 53% when at Barc Ronaldos was 97%.
Romario had a better goal rate at PSV, but had 4 years more experience when he started there.

The clincher for me is that i have always believe Ronaldo was the perfect striker, 2 good feet good with his head very quick with and with out the ball strong he had everything.
Romario wasn't good with his head, a lot of his goals were reliant on his speed, and being feed in a certain way. Yeah his footballing brain was probably better than Ronaldos, as he found space a lot better and was a lot quicker in terms of reaction, how ever if a team got his number as many did he was shut out.
Ronaldo had more depth to his game IMO, so he say him.

He wasnt comfortable with the team anymore he felt the coach was out to get him, you cant play like that always looking over your shoulder afraid to make a mistake.
