In my humble opinion, the version of tennis that's more popular is women's. Throughout the day, most of the sports updates I see and hear include more women's than men's. Plus, that's the one I prefer.

It's biased. but i think tennis right now is definitely more of a woman's sport, given that the talent in women's tennis by-far exceeds the men. if the Williams sisters can also get back on track, then that talent pool will grow even more. every event, the top 10 women's seeds can pretty much be juggled and pulled out of a hat and you're sure to see a fantastic match-up of pros. the men's side, right now, is pretty much Roger Federer and nobody else. Federer is the Tiger Woods of tennis. nobody really comes close. so you either root for him or against him. in women's tennis, there are so many to pick from if you don't have a favorite.

Men's. Since men have to play 3 sets to win a match. Their matches take longer and require more endurance than a woman's match.
I'm not doubting that women don't have a hard time, but I don't know many women who could play a 6-7 set match.
Both women and men are good for the sport though.

Woman sport because they are better at it. Contact sports are for men, Tennis and Golf are for women. No disrespect.

I think this is one sport where both sexes are popular and both sexes can play. I still believe the men probably could beat most of the women, but the women are a lot more popular and more fun to watch.

I think both men and women can excel at tennis and enjoy it. If you're asking about tennis vs. hockey as far as men are concerned, then obviously tennis is less macho. Its great exercise seeing as you run miles during a match.
Men do tend to serve at higher speeds but I have seen women beat men at tennis based on skill and agility.

I think Tennis can be for a man or a woman.. I don't think that it should be for just one. I think men only face men and women only face women based upon agility and stregnth.
