all i really need is a parts catalog or a manual......any one know where to find a free manual?

a used transmission will be cheaper that repairing one with a hole in it

if you are not a mechanic that specializes in trans.,then don't do it.you might want to check with some junk yards for a used one.then all you have to do is swap it.you will need new gaskets and fluid,but you do get a 30day warranty from a junk yard.ask questions,how many miles and what year car did the tranny come from.it will cost you about $500.00-$750.00 for a used one.if you have it rebuilt at a trans.shop,it could cost about $750.00-$1200.00 with a one year warranty.good luck.

The transmission has an aluminum housing, there is no way to fix it that I know of.

You could probably rebuild it yourself, but I wouldn't advise it unless you have experience on working with cars. Good luck.
