I would not consider pantyhose wearing a good reason to dump a loving, compatible partner. I, however, am queer, have queer sensibilities, and encourage genderf*ck behavior. I may not be a good representation of the general public. :)
Are you the pantyhose wearer or the partner (or an interested third party)? I think a useful conversation might be a discussion of why the pantyhose are attractive to the wearer. Is it the thrill of cross-dressing? Is it the tightness? What is it that is so enchanting about pantyhose? Then, discuss what objections the partner might have. Is s/he worried that it may mean that the boyfriend is trans? Queer? (Statistics show that men who derive sexual pleasure from cross-dressing are overwhelmingly straight.)

Yes, I would support him.
It's a shame that some people cannot accept this, but I know that they can't. Men have been doing this for years, in hiding, because society acts like it is somehow wrong. We are lucky we live in much more tolerant times. There is nothing wrong with fetishes, and if someone really loves you, they should be able to accept yours.
This kind of thing can break up marriages if you have to lie about it to your wife or if she is too conservative to understand it.
