Is this some kind of statement? I think it's a bit suspect.
Why not one mother and two fathers?

Perhaps the mother figures are played with more often so you get two, little girls usually like toy women more than toy men. I don't think that the toy manufacturer is trying to make a statement.
I hope she likes the dolls and has fun with them even though one doll family has no dad.
Could you buy another dad doll to go with them - perhaps as a special treat if your daughter does something well at school? Then the dolls will be happy.

Probably a mistake by the manufacturer but then again there is no longer what was once thought of as a traditional family of one mother and one father.....
But I do like the idea of one mother and two fathers hmmmm I wonder if there is also a girlfriend on the side :-)

probably the father can't satisfy the first mother
so the second mother is always at hand
2 fathers would be even more useless
