I want to go to Japan to learn Japanese but need to justify the expense to myself in a 'get a decent job when I get back' kind of way. Really I just want to go because it would be a totally awesome thing to do!!

I loved Japan...Its so beautiful....you could use your knowledge to be an "interpeter"....I would check around and see what company's, government, etc..has to offer in this line of work.....

Well there are a lot of Japanese owned companies.
It would be good to get into a Japanese company and be Bilingual, to translate Japanes -English.

Great job that pays VERY well. You have to be fluent in the language, but that's the whole reason you are going.

Afriend of mine is a doctor of language she speaks english french and italian and has just started her own business translating for businesses she has so much work she now has to turn it down - she started just last october hope that helps

Teaching English is very high paying job. There are companies if you get certified which is easy to do that will provide a salary and boarding while you teach.
