I say the 50's thru the 80's at least they all had real feeling in their music and wasn't all about sex, like it is today, you can't even turn on the radio,w/o hearing smack that all on the floor.....or.. you've got the magic stick.....to....it's getting hot in here,so take off all your clothes....to....bootylicious..It is ridiculous.....let's go back to the real music, where you could talk about love and romance,w/o singing about taking off clothes...etc...etc....if you really wanted to just tell your significant other how you really felt and didn't have the words to explain you could go to one of the the songs from the 50's to the 80's and get your point across with the words from the songs.....NOW YA'LL KNOW I'AM TELLING THE TRUTH!!!!!!!

70's and 80's were the best for "real" music.

I like the 80s myself. Definitely not the 90s. The only stuff I like from then was the alternative rock and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

No question about it! The fifties and sixties. Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett (still going strong) Mel Torme, Ella Fitzgerald, all of the jazz greats. Still play that stuff all the time. Also, great shows, like South Pacific, My Fair Lady, Carousel, Oklahoma, etc.

Mostly everything from the 80s, their music kind of rocks a bit more than today's. (in my opinion only) but i also like the new stage music of now.
