Well, I would like to think that since you have the sniffles you'd want to take it fairly easy. So, here's some obvious choices:
1. Stay all bundled up under the covers and watch a movie channel all day.
2. Stay all bundled up under the covers and read that book you've been meaning to pick up.
3. Stay all bundled up under the covers and if you have a laptop, continue with Yahoo! Answers.
4. Stay all bundled up under the covers and attempt a few crossword puzzles.
I think by now you get my drift about staying in bed and resting. Some tried and true old-fashioned health remedies:
* Spread Mentholatum on your chest area and
just a little dab under each nostril.
* Doesn't hurt to add another cover -- it's
good to sweat all the germs out!
* Drink lots of ginger ale and hot tea.
* Chicken soup with crackers!
I hope you feel better in time for a fun weekend!!

Staying at home can be a blessing sometimes. Being sick can be a chance to have more sleep(if you miss it) or a chance to do some stuff like u wanted for a long time but have no time for it.
You can read a book,if u have enough energy tidy up some of ur house,or just lay down and turn on the music and dream.Whenever I have time to stay at home I do some of those and also spend more time for my hobbies like knitting,do jewellery etc.Only thing not to do when u r at home thinking like:" oh my!What Im gonna do all alone in the house for a huge one day?"This will cause stress only

If you read the "Fit for Life" book, in it , it speaks of how people can't get sick, from other people!! That its all a "MYTH!!!" A great big Hoax!! So, if I were you I'd read, or write poetry, or croche... clean house, or do exercises, to burn off that cold!! Anything, but medicate!!! Alls medication does, is prolong the healing process!!! I would drink lots of clear fluids, and use Vicks at night to put on your chest & underneath your nose, but make sure you keep covered-up, once its on!! Our family swears by Vicks!!! My sister and her husband both got rid of pnemonia, from Vicks and drinking lots of clear fluids!!! This book, talks about how you can only get sick, through what we put in our own bodies!! And to be quite honest with you, it makes perfect sense to me!! Especially since, I personally have been around many of sick people in my life, without going home sick, days later, or anything like that!!! so, go out and buy a good book, or get that one!! "Fit For Life", it'll make you rethink about what society says about alot of things!!! Well, I hope you get to feeling better real soon!! My sympathy's! Smile!!!

I agree with the first answer, wow your hot, so I wont say anything lame like why don't I come over and keep you company, I was sick earlier this week, watch movies , took Tylenol flu, slept and basically stayed in bed all day, my dog kept me company. Hey, I could bring my dog over to keep you company.
One last thing, I see where you like the herb, so definitely partake, then anything you do will be interesting..: )

Take some medication to get better. Exercise, play video games, watch television, read a book, talk on the phone, clean up, and maybe help pay some bills.

When I feel like that, I end up cleaning, reorganizing a closet, and cooking. Then I veg and watch TV, email friends, and try to call my husband. It's weird, I get sick and I just have to do something.

I think you should lounge about the television or read a book. Your body will only get better if you rest. Also, one bowl of hot chicken noodle soup will make you feel a lot better.
