Consider the near irrepairable damage that Pres. Bush has done to the image, stature and status of a once great nation and the willingness of other countries to ally themselves to our major competitors, rather than cooperate with us.

The fallout from all this will be very evident in the near years to come.

I travel internationally quite a bit and have found that the United States is still very well respected especially in asia. Bush has done quite a bit of damage in western europe though. In eastern europe the U.S. is still well thought of. The main thing to remember is that although the people in other countries may dislike our government's policies they generally like american people.

Actually, objectively speaking, President Bush has done a good job on behalf of protecting our country and fellow Americans (yes, I am an American). I do give him failing grades on environmental issues as well as his complete failure to protect our boarders and thus the our nations laws. Other countries can do as they may, i.e., "ally themselves to our major competitors" however what I'm seeing is that said countries are becoming overcome by Islamic Rule.

Would somebody PLEASE explain this to me: on one hand our culture says that American women who put considerable importance on good looks in men are considered sluts and whores, but on the other hand our culture says that we are to LOOK as NICE as possible for other countries (except Israel and Britain) around the world. Who are the whores now? American women who act off natural instincts within their bodies? Or the media, Hollywood, CNN, MSNBC, and liberals in general, who cry out that we should "negotiate" in the middle east and keep feeding POW's at Guantanamo Bay more McDonald's and Ice Cream so that way we'll be viewed as "good looking" in the eyes of the world?

I don't think it's nearly as bad as the liberal media wants you to believe. You need to get away from sources like CNN and the Washington Post and New York Times who have forgotten what country they are in. It' only in the war they don't agree with us on, we do well in the other areas. I could care less if America forgives him or not, he's kept us safe and history will stand by him!

I am not overly fond of the man, but I am not ready to say he has destroyed this "once great nation". We are still a great nation and its the collective of all of us that make it so, not just our leader.

Like other leaders of the past, we will likely forgive and forget when we have someone new around to bash and blame.

The nation is still great. Why do you insist on lying about it and trashing it just to try to make Bush look bad? Our great nation deserves better treatment from it's citizens than what YOU are doing. We already have the civilized world jealous of us and the uncivilized world against us for religious reasons. The last thing we need is for its own people to trash it because you are still butt-hurt about the Clinton impeachment, the 2000 election, and the 2004 election.

You're question is decieving us to believe he's done something that needs forgiving.

All Presidents aren't supported during war. Just ask Lincoln and his 30% approval rating during the civil war.

You want some irony? 10 years from now, most people will like Bush just as most people like Clinton now. Why? Because there will be another President to blame all of the worlds problems on.

If we can survive friggin clinton and carter, I think we can survive about anything. Carter is the worst president ever (you probably didn't know that) and clinton disgraced the office. I think you are a little too influenced by the press. You ought to think for yourself a little.
