Does anyone have a thought at all when they see me walking to from the shower with a towel around my waist at the gym?
Do I have to be naked in the sauna/steam room like other guys in there or can I keep a towel around my waist?
I'm just not that comfortable with my nudity in front of others even though I know it shouldn't be a big deal.
So I'm just wondering if keeping towel around my waist makes me stand out to anyone more than walking around naked.

Who cares what other people think. If you aren't comfortable or it's your preference, just do what is best for you. Personally I wouldn't walk sit in the steam room naked, cause who knows who was sweating there before you got there. Just go with your gut and ignore everyone else.

i say just let Dick hang loose! you shouldnt be ashamed of anything. Plenty of guys walk around naked at my gym, and its perfectly normal!! If you try to hide and cover up, you will draw more attention to yourself than if you just let it all hang loose. as for the sauna, some gyms have dress codes, but if yours is towel optional, then go without!! you dont want your towel to get wet, and plus it feelss pretty good "down there" in the sauna!!

It's all about personal preference and you shouldn't feel uncomfortable. I actually hate seeing women walk around naked in the locker room when I'm at the gym. Everything is not for everybody so do what makes you feel comfortable.

You don't "HAVE TO" do anything either way. Nudity is your option and no one else's. If you wear a towel it is perfectly normal. If you don't wear a towel, no one can say anything either.
Do what makes you feel comfortable. That's it.

that is so funny. i had a birthday party for my son on saturday.it was a pool party at the ymca.he had 14 kids come about half were boys ages 7 and 8.so i had to bring them in the locker room to get changed.as soon as we walk in theres 2 guys fully nude just sitting on the bench talking.guys old guys were coming out of the steamroom ect.the kids didnt know what to say,so i found it weird that these so called men didnt want to cover up even with kids around.then one of the mothers sticks her head in the room to check on her son and she got an eye full.it was so funny. so cover up, i do. it seems right to do that

keep the towel no one wants to see you naked. i hate people who walk around naked at the gym
