You need to be a good actor, go to the auditions... and maybe just possibly beat out other actors for the job.

You'd have to be an actor, first.
There are always gigs for extras in hollywood, though. Brush up on your people skills, and work restaurants while you are waiting to get discovered. Or, if you are a writer, sell something, and they might give you a cameo.
