It depends on your situation, but your question leads me to believe that the benefit package is needed. Employer-sponsored group insurance plans are substantially cheaper than equivalent individual plans you'd have to purchase yourself; plus, deductions for the plan are taken pretax. This is a tremendous amount of money effectively put back in your pocket. If your employer subsidizes the plans, as most do, that's an even bigger savings. Throw in an employer-sponsored retirement plan, the value is racking up quickly.
If you're single, or your spouse already has the benefits you need, you might want to choose a higher-paying position (unless your package is superior, then you have another decision to make).

Commission is not a guarantee, if possible explore the commission rate as well as expected sales. Subtract the cost of carrying your own monthly medical insurance.
I would almost always go for benefits however, you really can't put a price on the security that having all of your medical needs covered.

Benefits are very important, you can choose to eat lunch at M-D, but when it is time to chose a hospital you will not have any choices. Take the benefits now and make adjustments else where, you will be better off.

NO!
1) most insurance companies screw you.
2) most doctors are incompetent and too overloaded to give you the attention you need.
3) you can replace most of the benefit of doctors by using diagnose-me.com and herbals. If you think plants don't effect people you should know most new pharmaceuticals are based on chemicals discovered in plants.
4) you can replace most of the benefit of insurance companies by negotiating price. This guy's free health report will help a lot.

It depends:
Are you single, young and healthy? if so, benefits may not be worth a lot to you.
If you have kids and a family or any health problems then you might want the benefits.

Yes, it is, however, it depends upon the benefits offered, and your personal situation. Actual $'s are not worth anything, if you can't enjoy it now and later!
