The best western movie ever made is Lonesome Dove, followed by Wyatt Earp (Costner"s film), The Unforgiven, High Noon, and Open Range. The best ACTION cowboy movie? Hard to say. Maybe Magnificent Seven or Fort Apache. Does Last of the Mohicans qualify? If so, I'd have to rank it very near the top. GREAT flick. Best action foreign movie has to be has to be Seven Samurai. Nothing can touch it.

Black Sabbath by Mario Bava still chills me to this day.

Belle Epoque starring Maribel Verdu and Jorge Saenz

The Devil's Backbone, another gem.

A Very Long Engagement. It is in Italian and to understand it I had to use the subtitles. I really liked it. I cried at the ending of happiness. I loved it!
