The Pulp Originally released 10/30/1995 by Island records-Live Bed Show was a cool song

The 90s song was Pulp and it is indeed a classic.

"You wanna live like common people
You wanna do whatever common people do"

Filled with vitriol about the well-to-do who think life on the breadline might actually be a bit of a laugh.

Paul Young's song was a hit in the 80s and more about the idea of community spirit - the subject isn't wealthy, but is "living in the love of the common people".

The singer was Paul Young. But the original song was a reggae version in the 60's!
