Presidents have to go through an annual medical. You would have thought that the physician in charge would have signed him off with demetia and saved the country from an expensive impeachment trial.
A closed and stubborn mind will have to be considered a NEOCON trait.

If you coached a football team and you were down on the scoreboard would you say we can't win this lets pack it in or would you tell them they are doing good and could still pull off the win? The president is a high profile coach/ cheerleader in times of war and even if its falling apart his job is to try and pull it back together. That being said I don't think it is as bad as the media reports. Almost every interview with the returning military people contradict what the news reports say. The guys and girls from the front have for the most part stood by their mission and said that the media was misrepresenting the situation in Iraq. I chose to believe our fighting men and women over people in the media.
If you are the coach who would forfeit because you have fallen behind I thank god you are not in charge. The idea of quiting when things get tough goes against everything I believe and would have prevented the freedom of the US if our forefathers shared that view.
Nostradumbass Bush is a recovering alcoholic as am I and if he is anything like most of the ones I know failure to be honest and admit ones wrongs causes the drink problem to come back. You are full of --it.

Considering it isn't a quagmire, and hasn't been for all the years the liberals were calling it a quagmire, perhaps it indicates mental illness on their part.
Sounds right to me.

Quagmire or no quagmire... one must first think about what might happen if we fail in Iraq. Could it be that perhaps in 40 years, we (the United States) will be living under Islamic Law? Dementia? ... I don't think so.

Bush isn't the brightest bulb on the tree but he knows it's a quagmire. His actions now are all attempts to avoid blame for the OUTCOME of the war.
How we got in is a matter of record. But he doesn't want responsibility for the unavoidable outcome.

No. He simply sees it differently than you. To call him names or suggest things like "dementia" is childish.

QUOTE**********
I think anyone who supports Israel needs their head examined. I found out by watching a film called 'Why The Mid-East Bleeds' that Israeli Zionists mow down entire innocent families, booby trap childrens toys so the children get blown up, capture and torture Palestinian children by the hundreds, and spread diseases like AIDS in their blood supply, all while thinking it is ok because they do this sick prayer once a year that they think allows them to do these things and still go to heaven. Thats sick folks!
------------
Don't buy into propaganda. They fail to mention that children are killed because Hezballa armys hide under schools (thus using Chilren as human shields). Thus, when they're attacked they blame Isreal for attacking their children when that wasn't their attention. Hezbulla (sp?) actually target children, whereas Isrealites do not.

Well....when a President has a mental disorder they act strangely and make strange decisions that impact our Country for years after.
I think not only should they have a yearly physical...they should have a yearly session with a good psychiatrist.
***note Ronald Reagan not "remembering" anything during the Iran-Contra (sp) trials....now we know why.

not dementia, addictive thinking.
remember that bush is an admitted alcoholic.
alcoholics generally don't want to accept responsibility for their failures and rarely ever take into account the things that can and frequently do go wrong.
bush is employing addictive thinking and so are all of the right wing pundits that dominate the airwaves.
bush approaches america AS IF HE HAS NOT ALREADY FAILED IN IRAQ, with his new idea for an escalation and is bitter when the entire nation no longer trusts his judgement...
