I tried the usual Prt Scr key technique, which always worked... till now. Whenever I do that with a video, and copy+paste to paint, it comes out as a browny-black background, and the video in the image is just a lighter brown-black square. So, is there a way to take a screenshot of a video? Thanks in advance.

The RAM suggestion is already in affect. The video cam doesn't install. And everyone else who said use Prt Scr, I said in the question that didn't work.
Oh well. Guess I'll have to ask Nintendo, or look myself.

When you take a screen shot, it should always always come out just the way you see it.. its just like taking a high-rate camera and taking a picture. What you see is what it sees. Here is the deal. If when you do this it comes out the way you say, try to do it just with windows looking at the destop. Either there is not enough RAM, or virtual memory and it doesnt store the copy on the clipbord right or, there is an issue with your O.S. either you can roll back with system restore to a date before you started having this issue or try and update windows. But I would go with not enough memory. This will decrease the quaility of anything on windows. You can up your page file if using xp under properties of my computer, go to advanced tab then click on settings on the performance tab, then advanced on the next screen, there you will see the page file, click on change, set the total value to 2000 or 3000 and then set the initial size to about half of the value. Note* the alloted space only allows about 4062 give or take.. only thing is you will loose this space on your hard drive, but increase how much virtual memory you have. Page file acts as if it was ram.

Try it in Windows Media Player. A lot of other video viewing programs have some sort of Print Screen protection on them for copyright reasons, but the Print Screen button on your keyboard used in Windows Media Player 10 always worked for me.

When the video is running press print screen buttton near scroll lock button then goto mspaint and press ctrl+v and save it!

Standard CTRL + Print Screen or ALT + PRINT SCREEN will not work, use CAM STUDIO available free on the net

then i would copy and past it in to Microsoft word first then i would try to copy it to paint
