Gerona is the 'Costa Brava' airport, Lloret de Mar is a well known 'Costa Brava' resort and is about 20 miles distant, cost of a taxi should be no more than 30 - 40 euro.

I went to London 2 weeks ago, instead of getting a taxi all the way to Gatwick I got the Gatwick Express from Victoria station, and then a taxi to my destination. The train journey was £20 and the taxi fair just over £10 (to just past Marble Arch). I thought public transport in the UK was very expensive, but at least this way its cheaper than a taxi fair all the way out. The train went every 10 minutes, so you won't be left waiting around.
