I would have to agree with you. When U2 made Zooropa which was complete crap!! I knew its was the beginning of the end.
A bunch of side b music.
Ten minutes into the CD I sold it on E-bay!!.

The most overrated modern band is almost certainly Nickelback. They just keep rereleasing the same song and people keep buying it for some reason. That song sucks, too. I think photograph was elected as the universal class song last year, so my friends and I rebelled and played a decent song instead at graduation.

Yes, U2 is one of them. Oasis is another. However, I actually think that most bands are underrated. Most of the time, we don't even know about them.

Metallica. Way back in the day, they were an amazing ground breaking metal band that kicked a s s. Now, they are so full of themselves and so over-hyped that it's just disgusting. I haven't bought one of their albums since the black album.

Motely Crue, too. Just awful.
At least U2 has some truly awesome music and lyrics.
