Buy two red color soft hearts. Keep them in some place where they would find out easily.

And leave them alone..........
May be you leave two tickets for some romantic show along with the hearts.

Yes. A lunch date with YOU!
You pay for the lunch - perhaps on a Saturday afternoon.

Make them a card - ok, you may cheat by going to the card section of the store and get great ideas. Parentss don't admit it but they never throw away"handmade" cards - just for them from their children.

Now if you have any money left over (because you might get a new outfit for this occasion), get them a small present - yes very small - like candy - you know those little boxes of chocolates.

Ask them to dress up - and take them to a nice restaurant but make sure it's a place where all of you will be comfortable.

Now - for you - Make sure you look great! Smile !!!
Don't tell him where you're going - unless they are the kind that have to know.

Send them an electronic email card -
free electronic cards - www.123greetings.com - or other site.
- and write your invitation to the lunch with their special child
as you personalize this electronic greeting card.

THEY WILL REMEMBER THIS FOR THE REST OF their lives.
You will be described as "AMAZING" and be remembered forever for your thoughtfullness - especially when you don't have a job.

This will give them a special present - TIME WITH THEIR CHILD, AND that's when they will feel appreciated!

GOD bless us one and all, always.

I think it is more important to show the heart at this time. Buying material items does not cut the cake, soooooo, I would find something more original, like taking the time to cook for your parents. My daughter made me a card that said" This entitles the holder to one day with me, doing whatever, like a movie or dinner or a walk in the park"

just make the day different by making heart purely of love towards your parents, when you wake raise with a beautiful smile to yourselves infront of the mirror and then go out and smile to your parents early in the morning. OKAY
happy valentines day in advance.....

you could always cook your parents a great romantic dinner..like salad, lobster ...you simply steam them....make some roasted veggies to go with them..set the table with their good china and candles and then leave so they can have some time to themselves...it has been 17 years...if you have siblings take them with you for the night go to the movies or skating, go on a picnic with them or maybe you could go spend the night at relatives or a friends
