If you have a masters (obviously you do) you can teach at the college level. I doubt that you would be hired with no experience. To get experience get an emergency teaching certificate if they offer that in your state. In WA you only need a BA to get it. That is what I did. I liked teaching so I got my masters in teaching and my certification at the same time and went on to teach kindergarten, 3rd and now at the college level. I suggest you sub before you go through the effort of getting certificated. Good luck.

Take the first step Apply. Talk to the HR department. Find out what you need to qualify. Give it a try. You might love it. Teaching is very hard to do, but the more fun you have developing your techniques, the better you get at it. One word of advice...don't let testing be too big a part of assessing what they really know.

I hope you can, but they might decide you're overqualified. Contact whoever is offering the job and ask about qualifications. Have you ever taught before? Do you have teaching certification?
Do you like teaching others about your area of expertise? You didn't say where to to whom you would be teaching. Call them. All they can say is "no, thanks".
