Well i worked radio for a while, then was a director of the local news on TV, and after that i joined the army and learned to speak Korean. Now i work for the VA hospital system in public relations. I had all kinds of other odd jobs in there too though. I was a bartender for a while, and i had a small column on our local newspaper, plus i was an editor for an online publishing company. Your options are endless really. Every job wants to know about you communication skills, and they really play into it and show during your interview. Pick a minor in something that will be around for a while, like health care, or be like me. I got an associates in computer programing along with my Bachelor in Mass Comm. Can i program right now? no, everything has changed since i graduated, but it shows that you have communication and technical skills, which are what most employers are looking for.

You really have a lot of options. With my communications degree, I worked for a short time at a newspaper, but others I knew went into television - production, editing, TV journalism. I knew some who worked in public affairs and in the media department for schools and universities. I eventually settled on teaching English. :-)
