You have got to be kidding me, How do you expect anyone to answer your question with no more information then what you posted.
First child support is based on income.
What's his income, Whats your income. How old is the child to see if you are permitted to stay home and raise your child under the nurturing child act before the child is school age.
Who pays health care and how much is the health care.
There are so many factors as to how much your child support will be..
As for arrears.. Is there a court order in effect? If so then he owes you what he hasn't paid. If there isn't a court order in effect then he owes you nothing until the date you file for child support.

You question is impossible to answer without more facts. If there is a court order establish how much must be paid, then you should have sufficient records to show what was paid versus what should have been paid.
If you don't have a support order, you need to get one. Support orders are usually generated from a formula that includes consideration of the income and expenses of each parent as well as how much time each spends with the child(ren).
Your best bet is to see a local family law attorney for more information.

Your question can only be answered after you provide the following information: Was there a court order for child support payments? What was the date and the amount of the order?
If there was no court order, what state are you in? How much does the father make (gross) per week and how much do you earn? How many children? When were you separated or divorced?
Child support is a matter of state law, not speculation. And in most states, if you don't go after it, you are not entitled to any retroactive amount, unless there are special circumstances. Why are you posting here instead of seeing a lawyer or legal aid/services?

Gee, let's just pick a number. You need to give details in order to get an answer.
Did the court actually order child support? If so, how much per month.
Has he ever paid child support? If so how much?
Has he ever stopped paying child support? If so, when.

Depends on how much your original judgement was for and if you have any outstnading debit such as hospitals or medica. This is espceially the case if you used any state assistance to pay for medical care. The hardest thing is to find the fellow and make him pay. Suspending drivers licenses helps, but many people drive without one, You need to keep a good log of what has been paid to you and what has not. You should always give a reciept for cases where the husband constests the charge.
