I have a XBOX360 and a wireless network adapter on my PC (Media Center) and 360. They connect but I get a network Congestion message sometimes and everything is all choppy when trying to watch recored TV or something online on my TV through my 360. Is there a way I can connect the two wired? I have only found the way to connect them through the wireless cards... I figured I could use the open network port on my PC and 360 but that doesn't work. Anyone know?

I have my 360 and my Sony Vaio media center pc connected through an Ethernet cable.
With the media center extender software installed there should be no problem directly connecting the two devices. You might have the wrong kind of Ethernet cable, but that is highly improbable. Go to the Xbox web page and download the MCElite file and install it on your media center pc. If that doesn't work then maybe you have some hardware issues or need a new Ethernet cable. I had some router troubles in the beginning, but bought a new router and have had plug and play like connectivity between the two devices. If you do some reading you will find that a wired connection is actually the best way to enjoy the MC experience using the xbox as an extender.
