I ve looked into this subject and it appears in most "ecstacy related" deaths are indeed that. "Related"

During the mid 90's lots of deaths occurred due to people drinking too much water. The death of Leah Betts was due to this. Check out this:-

Other ecstacy related deaths occur due to people being totally smashed off their faces and doing silly things (not very scientific).

There are other occasions where people appear to have a reaction to taking a pill and end up dead.

In general MDMA does not apper to kill people. I have yet to read about anyone who has died from taking too much MDMA. However I guess there will be level to which your body/brain will give up.

Ecstasy is not known as the suicide pill however certain people want to misinform you. That would be cyanide. There are very few deaths which are directly attributed to ecstasy. Overheating and dehydration as a result of having taken ecstasy can lead to organ failure and death. That much is true. Allergic reactions to any pill can happen, actually even nuts can kill you. Why you would need to know this I'm not sure but I suspect you'd be better talking things over with a professional than collecting pointless data. Two people could take the same pill and either or neither of them could have a reaction. Theres no way of knowing. Given the number consumed weekly on the UK dance scene and the lack of corresponding deaths I suggest that 1 is not the optimum dosage for a guaranteed kill.

You could also take just one and die right there and then.

Different pills affect different people in different ways. Plus you can never be 100% sure what is in the pill unless you were the one who made it.

People have been known to make pills out of all sorts like rat poisen and brick dust.

Basically if you don't want to risk dying - don't take ecstacy.

it all depends on the person and the pill, I used to do loads when I was younger and would regularly get into double figures, the most I have taken is 16 but I know people that have taken 20+ and I also know someone that died from 12 and a girl that overdosed but didnt die from 5, so its too hard a question to answer, people have died from 1 before.
