I have a '03 Pontiac Bonneville that has a cracked side view passenger side mirror. I found another side mirror unit but not sure how to take the mirror off. Anyone know if there are just clips holding the mirror to the unit? I don't want to try and accidently break it.

Call a GM dealer, or any reputable auto repair shop. They should be able to give you a general idea, if not specific instructions, about how to get it off.

it is amazingly no longer likely that a substitute glass is accessible. the suitable factor to do is examine with the dealership. in the event that they dont instruct a substitute glass, then you definately will ought to replace the full assembly. I even have under no circumstances used an oem substitute, yet they are available and could shop you some money over the manufacturing unit substitute. you will probable ought to have a mechanic replace the reflect. attempt a salvage backyard for a substitute. it may be greater low-priced than the aftermarket, yet won't be the spectacular shade to examine your vehicle. you need to have it painted to examine your vehicle.

Remove the inside door panel. That will give you access to the mirror retainers.
