I've heard this rumor for the longest time and have never had the guts to ask an Amish person myself....So do the Amish really pay people to empregnate their wives and daughters to create a broader gean pool?

Of course not. Most Amishmen are complettely faithful in marriage. I can't say all, but I have never met one who was not.

I'm not sure about that, but I do know that very close cousins marry each other because they don't have anyone else to marry. The whole lot of them is a sick bunch, and I have VERY low tollerance for them. For a few years of my younger life my parents tried a mennonite church, but we left very disgusted, and grossed out. We learnt allot about the Amish, and their not as nice as they look. Stay far away!
