my psp internet won't work i tried every single thing n it won't work...i tried 2 scan i maually put linksys n the info but the light won't even blink not even once(n yes its turn on im not that stupid wen it comes 2 tech)but this is somethig that never happened but w/e idk...help me plz ppl T.T

mine did the same thing....i dont know which of these 2 steps worked but i did them all.... first i reinstalled my router...i also up upgraded by plugging into the computer.

You might want to look at your modem and see if it works. Also check if you have any wireless devices that use internet, and see if those are working in the home. If your internet is not wireless, then you must try to work with the modem. It might also be the code you first put in to have your internet working. Have you changed your internet service? That might be it as well. I highly recommend e-mailing Sony PSP assistance for this problem to figure it out:

Go there to e-mail them. Also you might want to try calling which would be faster at this number:

That is SCEA assistance for their products. I highly recommend calling and they can probably help you, and if you have gotten it recently refer to their warranty or any warranty you might have gotten from buying the product from wherever you bought it from. For instance I have warranty at Wal-Mart for around 2-3 years if it breaks. Good Luck, Hope You fix it.

if you have a wireless router (you mentioned Linksys) make sure the security like WEP, or possibly MAC adress filtering is not activated on it.

also, reset that router after checking the security on it. next, upgrade the firmware on the PSP.

it could that your internet has a security code
also it could be just your internet
this is what i did and it worked
turn of the modem unplug it from the socket
wait about 2 minutes then plug it in again and it should work
verizon my internet provider told me to do this and it works
