My local mailman is a real jerk. He maced my dog through a screen door. Like my dog could have really bit him through a door. So to get revenge on this gutless/ coward mailman, I went to the public mailbox (the standard blue ones) he picks up at and scooped 1/2 gallon of chocolate fudge ice cream in it. I then waited from afar to see the look of disgust on his face as he tried to make sense of the ruined ice cream soaked mail. Now hopefully when he brings this back to the post office he will be fired for getting his ice cream on the mail. Don't you agree this is great karma for an animal abuser?

Your a total loose canon. First you should have reported him for macing your dog. Secondly while getting back at your mailman you destroyed a lot of mail of innocent people who where waiting for there mail. I hope someone takes this post and reports it the USPS website so it can be investigated because tampering with mail is illegal and punishable..

Actually, what you did is a federal offense, punishable by imprisonment. Perhaps your dog couldn't bite him through the door, but I have seen large dogs go right through the screen door to get at someone. Obviously your mailman is afraid of dogs. Personally, I think he's in the wrong industry and macing a dog is cruel.
Having said that, I must say I deal with loose dogs all the time. I am tired of pet owners who think everyone else should have to deal with their mutt. I don't want to say hello to Fido no matter how much he wants to say hello to me, so keep your dogs under control and away from other people.

All you had to do was lodge a complaint with the Postmaster General at your local post office. It would have been taken care of. Because of what you did, how many other peoples' bills won't get paid now? All of that mail is virtually void and useless!
What you did is considered a felony in every state.
If that mailman even THINKS you had anything to do with it...you better keep your dog away from the door for sure NOW...they don't call it "going postal" for nothing!

Guess who wasn't thinking? All you had to do was report him to his post. Tampering with mail is not just against the law, it's a federal offense. Get it? U.S. Government? Not local law. Federal. From his viewpoint, how many dogs does he encounter? How many times has he been attacked? You think he's a big dog lover now because probably every house he goes to, there's a dog going ape$hit at a "stranger?" You've got 1 mailman, and already you're hostile. He's got dogs everywhere...why do you think his guard is up? Yeah, karma is coming back around to you soon.

Animals are unpredictable. The potential damage to the mail most likely caused him no harm. It's a cute story.
Sounds like you may need a few sessions of anger management!

Why would he get fired for a prank? The ice cream doesn't reflect on him. It reflects on someone not mature enough to handle situations on an adult level. When you messed with other peoples mail, you messed with your own karma.

YES ,that is funny,and yes that is a felony.The bear minimum for this felony could be 3 years in the federal pin.if im not mistaking.You would serve less jail time if you were to mace the postman ..lol lol

If you actually did this it would not be "karma" acting. It is just petty revenge. In fact, if there was karma, you would be punished for ruining innocent people's mail.
Also, if you had really done this, the post office would investigate it as vandalism. If you had done this and were caught, you could do some jail time and would definately be fined.
Good thing that you did not actually do this.

No I think it was stupid!! You want to get even with the mailman so you messed up alot of peoples mail!! What if their lights or gas gets shut off because you destroyed the check to the utility company!! You aren't very bright are you?

I'm sure it was great to watch, but if he ever figures out it was you, you could get into serious trouble. It's a felony to tamper with US mail, and that kind of damage could be considered tampering. But it was funny. Sorry about your dog! Hope it's okay!
