This happened in Jordan and has happened in other places in the Middle East. Why are we in that part of the world? Let's leave them alone until they either grow up or kill each other off, I don't really care which. They are savages and not fit to join the rest of the world.

Perhaps you should live in France where they are neutral about everything, even when they are invaded by the Nazi's like in WWII.
That is a very short, naive view of things. Things that happen around the world do matter here. Not too long ago, on "Forensic Files" was a story about a teen that was killed by her parents in America because she didn't subscribe to their ways and got a part-time job in high school and refused to marry the fella they had set up for her.
She could be your brother's, sister's, cousin's, son's or even the daughter from a one night stand or other person you know friend and they could be deeply devastated by the loss and you, if you truly have any heart whatsover, be affected the this tradegy.

Stop the name calling and insults. I find your letter racist and offensive. You can find murderers all over the world, and if you're interested in reputations, the USA is internationally known for its serial murderers, school shootings and gundowns. Not to mention the Hollywood industry glamourizing such things, even to the point of "Silence of the Lambs" (and worse). Please don't pretend that there aren't people here who wouldn't also do such a thing. But I won't call all Americans savages.
As for the people in "that part of the world", they may very well have the same opinion of Americans as you have of them, considering what (some of) the US Soldiers are up to.

Let's see... did you see the article about a father in Michigan who got high and passed out while watching his 3-year-old daughter? She wandered out into his backyard where three Rotweiler's were tied up. She got tangled in the ropes and was out there for two hours while one of the dogs bit and scratched her. Luckily a neighbor noticed the dogs barking and rescued this little girl. The hospital had to suck dirt out of her lungs and repair 12 dog bites and numerous dog scratches. This is parenthood in the good ol' USA? Tell me where do the savages live?

well personally, i think its very informative to know what is going on in other parts of the world...i sure would hate to be in the dark about what was happening in other countries..to know this is going on, enlightens others around the world, and to maybe trigger some ppl to want to help or try and see what can be done about this...innocent lives are being lost because of the strict religious beliefs over in Jordan and other middle eastern countries...if we were to just leave them alone...that would be cruel, and would be on many ppls minds ya know? to call them "SAVAGES" is a extremely harsh, as you are referring to them to be like "cave ppl" when in fact they live in homes and work just like any American, British, etc...
dont get me wrong, i respect your opinion and thoughts...but their are alot of ppl over there that would like help...would like to escape death...and it sounds soooo easy to just look away....but there are ppl out here...like ME...who would rather help and know whats going on in the world.................................
