It's SOOOO cold. Our high for the day is -5 (celcius). Our low is close to -10 (celcius). For Chicago, though, it's normal. The problem with Chicago is the wind. For example the temperature may be -5, but when the wind blows - with the "wind chill factor" it may feel like it's -20. I'd rather be in Italy :-)

I live in Michigan, USA. It is freezing here too. The last time I heard the area I live in could get up to 8 inches by tonight due to lake effect snow.

Im from Minnesota and its been a pretty mild winter but we are averaging 30 degrees F for a high these past few weeks. A couple of weeks ago it got down to -15 degrees F. I dont know what that is in degrees C.

ah its not that bad in Minnesota. its 21 degrees F (-6 degrees C) but with the wind it feels like 14 degrees F (-10 degrees C). i laugh when people say that 50 degrees F is cold. thats considered warm in march.
