why did the cmt channel stop playing this great movie?

Because it was released on dvd last week. In order for the dvd to sell as many copies as possible, they need to halt showing it for awhile. Same thing happened with Disney's High School Musical.

Its available on DVD now. They probably stopped playing it so people will go out and buy it.

well they did have to start playing other things. i agree it is a very great movie but maybe you should go buy it. its out on DVD.

Because if they played it over and over, people would start to get annoyed, plus you can buy it on DVD.
