My impala doesn't have heat! When I first had this problem it would only work on setting 5. It wouldn't blow on settings 1-4. Then one day it just stopped working period. My car is producing heat because I can feel it coming from the vents it's just not blowing the heat. If anyone can help it would be appreciated...it has been a very cold winter so far!

You have bad blower motor resistor. Very common

When the blower motor resistor goes bad , it will only work on high for a while until it completely goes bad. The resistor may go bad because the blower motor itself is bad. I would suggest replacing the resistor first. However, it may go bad again and if this happens you should probably replace both the blower motor and the resistor.
The resistor can be bypassed temporarily to check if the blower is still OK, but I'd have to see the resistor first to tell you how to do it.
