how did Trotter get back in?

I just finished directing this play, so I'd be VERY curious to know what it is you're talking about. As a piece of dramatic text, I don't believe it has an essential flaw. It's constructed like a swiss watch, as the saying goes. This probably explains why it ran for something like 50 years in London, and why audiences still flock to see it.

Did you mean to suggest that the TEXT is flawed? Or that one of the main characters possesses a "fatal flaw"? Everyone in the play has a secret that he or she is trying desperately to conceal, but I don't suppose that's what this question is pointing towards.

Please post a follow-up.
