Moldava is in Europe and is way poorer than Albania. According to this chart (2005 figures giving Purchasing Power by country), Albania, at $2,580 ranks well above Moldava, at $880. I think it's definitely Moldava. http://www.finfacts.ie/biz10/globalworldincomepercapita.htm

First off, Albania is not the poorest so do reasearch. Albania isn't a Muslim majority. 75 percent are NON-religious. I don't understand if Albanians don't consider themselves Muslim, why should the rest of th world? Kosovo has the Albanian Muslims

Yes Bulgaria is poor ( same as Romania, Serbia) but Albania and FYR of Macedonia, Moldova, Ukraine and Bellaruss are the poorest.

Gotta be Albania. Probably by far. Although there may be war torn regions of the slovakias that are dirt poos also.

As far as a country that has been established for a long time I would say you are right about Albania.

I'd say Albania followed by either Bulgaria or Romania (probably Romania).
