In addition to the places other people have listed, there is also the London Bridge in Lake Havesu, the Hoover Dam, and Kitt Peak National Observatory. There is also Tombstone, site of the famous OK Corral gunfight between the Canton Gang and the Earps. In Tucson, there is Old Tucson, where many western movies and even some TV shows were filmed. There is also the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, as well as Sahuaro National Park, Colossal Cave, and Sabino Canyon.

I was there last March-I visited the Grand Canyon, the Phoenix Zoo, the Desert Botanical Gardens, and stayed at the Scottsdale Plaza Hotel. It was the perfect temp, 65 degrees, and was gorgeous. My car almost broke down, but it ended up alright. Good luck!
