The Rep., way.............. spend the money and want someone else to pay the bill. The faster we get him out of there, the better we will all be. I throw something at the tv every time I see him. I mute the sound. And it's great! That is how much I adore the man........ or boy.....................

He couldn't beat his way out of a wet paper bag!

I think Iraq is stalling for time. So everyone is to blame but them.

Congress members with all the cute press coverage trips need to stop playing for the cameras and do something about the UN. Cutting off our yearly dues to the UN might just get them off their judgmental -do nothing back sides.

UN Security Council Resolution 1637 said the Council would terminate the ’Multinational Force's mandate at the request of Iraq's government. Great! Let's have PM Maliki(sp?) stand up and tell the UN come back.

THE MAN IS CRITICIZED AT EVERY TURN NO MATTER WHAT HE DOES. WE ARE IN A SOCIETY THAT EXPECTS RESULTS INSTANTLY. THE PROBLEM IS MOST OF THE REST ON THE WORLD DOESN'T NECESSARILY WORK ON OUR TIME SCHEDULE AND DON'T PARTICULARLY CARE WHAT AND WHEN WE WANT THINGS DONE. HE IS DOING WHAT MOST PRESIDENTS TRY TO DO. MOST ARE VERY AWARE OF THEIR LEGACIES AND ATTEMPT TO DO GOOD WORK TO HELP THEIR COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE. WE HAVE TO RELEARN HOW TO DISAGREE WITH SOMEONE IN THE POLITICAL ARENA WITHOUT ATTEMPTING TO TOTALLY DESTROY THEM. EVENTS THAT HAVE NOT EVEN OCCURRED YET MAY PROVE HIM TOTALLY RIGHT IN HIS BELIEF THAT THE RESULTS ON THE WAR ON TERROR COULD POSSIBLY PROVE FATAL FOR OUR NATION. IT WON'T MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE 5 YEARS DOWN THE ROAD IF HE WAS RIGHT-IF INDEED THE COUNTRY IS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE BECAUSE OF THE TOTAL COLLAPSE OF THE MIDDLE EAST AND SUBSEQUENT CONFLICTS. THE MINORITY OPINIONS HAVE BECOME THE MAJORITY OPINIONS AND VICE VERSA. IN THE PAST, WE GIVE SERIOUS CONSIDERATION TO MINORITY VIEWS OF THE IRAQ WAR. DOESN'T THE BUSH VIEWPOINT MERIT EQUAL CONSIDERATION NOW THAT HE IS ON THE SHORT END OF THE STICK? IF A HUGE HIDDEN CACHE OF WMD WERE FOUND TOMORROW IN BAGHDAD, WOULD THAT NOT COMPLETELY CHANGE THE DYNAMICS OF THE ENTIRE SITUATION? STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED.

It appears to me that Bush is now trying to make his own decisions. At least he is now realizing that Cheney and Rumsfield decisions and advice were abominable.
Don't really think Bush has the intellect to make intelligent decisions but at least he is the one making them now, I hope.
He should listen to the people and to some members in Congress with varying judgments.
I don't think he has a chance in '____' of having a successful mission in Iraq. Too many soldiers and people have already been killed - for what? And the US is so far in debt - for what?

The war in Iraq is a problem without a solution. He's trying to get out of the White House with as little of the blame for its outcome as he can.

He is buying time to attempt to beat the war drums and perhaps create an incident to expand the war to Iran.

Of course he is! He's making the same stupid moves his father made when he was in office. That's what Republicans do!
