My doctor's tone, and those words, caused the phrase "malignant brain tumor" to flash before my eyes. I was ready to look at the MRI's, talk about the options, and discuss time...sweet time.
I sat, he spoke...multiple sclerosis (of the relapsing/remitting variety.) Not great news...but better than the worse case scenerio that had already played through my head. Seven years, multiple relapses, and many treatments later, I'm still here.

You get that adrenaline rush and you feel ill. When my mom told me that I felt like I would instantly pass out. My dad found out he had leukemia, it was the worst day. I could tell from the tone of her voice that it was something bad even before she told me those words. I got choked up even before she said anything. Sometimes you can just feel that something bad is coming.

Of course and when i hear that i act a little hostile, like "WHY WE NEED TO TALK FOR, WHAT DID I DO, DID I DO SOMETHING, YOU DONT HAVE ANYTHING RIGHT? That's the way i react i be scared out my freaking pants, and come to find out its nothing serious

Actually it just happened to me on Monday, only the words were "can I see you for a moment"....oh the heart rate goes up, and it was at work about my job performance.....ah, just one of those days.
