Of course you do! Think about it this way.. like a stone thrown in the water creates ripples right? Well imagine you are the stone each time you do something each time you interact with some one that is a another ripple in the water. Like for instance you asked this question which may have an effect on some one out there. Your purpose is shown in many different ways. Because you have a purpose you there in have a chance at what I do not know that is solely up to you to decide. At my age - 57 - I have just been approached by a very successful business owner and asked to become her assistant -to take over the running of her office, so she would be free to expand her businesses.

You can do it, too. You are worthwhile and can make a difference in your own circumstances as well as for others.

Just take one step, then another, and then another. Every step will be a miracle. You'll see!

Most of my knowledge came through self-education and sheer effort to do better. I absolutely refuse to leave this life on a mediocre note.

the "chance" as you put it is in your hands. do you have a chance at happiness? absolutely! at being successful? absolutely! at loving yourself? absolutely! the chance you have in life is directly proportional to the effort you want to put into it. everything is a series of steps...for instance, you can't be an engineer and not want to go to college. you have to take the steps to get where you want to go. the yukky steps as well as the exciting steps. committing to take those steps and then actually taking the steps is what give you the "chance" in life.
