crystal as in a diamond?
look for the 3 "c"
color-get the whitest
clarity-get the one with less clouds
carats-as many as you can afford, the highest the number the biggest the stone.
I would not know where to buy in Malaysia but if there is a "Zales" or Kay's" try them they are supposed to be international.

i think the chinese people will know better about choosing crystals. What i know is that each colour has a different meaning.

u can buy the cheapest is in Sabah/KK
if u go there of course..
or probably in Langkawi Island..
