So I've got a Shure58 and a Mixer, but don't have any special speakers to run my Vocal Mic To, should I buy a special amp, can I run it to normal speakers, or a an old guitar amp? Any advice

You don't mention how much money you have to spend or how high a quality you want to go. Or if you are using this occasionally or more. SO..............
Go to 123dj.com and look over all their equipment. They have a sale now on what's called a Mobile DJ pack. It includes a 1000 watt Amp and 2 Peavey Speakers (15 inch speakers). All for $499.00 plus shipping. Shipping from Chicago (their headquarters) to Southwest Texas is 76.00. I know because I just bought the system for Christmas. It is a great system but maybe more than you want. They have smaller setups.
Good luck!!
