Always. and sometimes afterward too. I'm not of the ilk that would answer a question if he had nothing new to offer. For instance, there was a question about Dia de Los Muertos. Another responder was so thorough, writing 5 or 6 paragraphs + links to sites, that i couldn't possibly add anything worthwhile. Makes sense, doesn't it?

Sometimes I do. Sometimes I am just reading answers and not answering myself and if I see a question that really amuses me or an answer that stimulates a thought I'll answer. A lot of the time I don't bother though, I just throw out my two pennies and move along to the next thing.

usually, i read them before, so that i can add to another respondent's reply, or rebut what has been said by somebody else.
