I was at thi store,and there was this weird smell in the store, and one of my friends came up to me and asked me a question, and I mentioned to him that it wasn't me that smelled, and he said Oh you're fine, you're fine, you're fine...What does that mean exactly..how do you think he was using the word

that nothing was wrong with your scent because the smell was coming from elsewhere

That's frickin hilarious dude. In this case, I think your friend knew you were rank but wanted to pretend he didn't know so as not to hurt your feelings. Take a bath next time. Wear deoderant.

He meant that he knew you were not the one that smelled. He was just letting you know.
