I guess restraunts serve drinks with straws because it is more sanitary with the multitude of customers drinking from same cup ...and it is easier to avoid the whip cream mustache when drinking milkshakes but I still prefer the good old fashion mug with no straw :o)

I hate using a straw. The soda never tastes cold enough through a straw.

Yes I like straws! You dont know if the glasses or cups are clean! At least with a straw if it is in a wrapper it is clean :)

If I'm at a restraunt, yes, because I don't have to worry how clean the rim of the glass is but at home, no.
