ok my petz cd is messed up and my friend said that if i buy the seaason expasion pack that ill be able to play petz aswell , w/o the pets d, is he right?

btw i have the sims 2 as well, wot i mean is , do i need the disk for the sims pets if i install pets first (after sims 2 of course) then seasons . then would i only have to use the seasons disk? it worked for sims 1

You will not be able to play Pets until you install Seasons, then if Pets installed properly you use the Seasons disk to play and you should have pets as well. The Sims always used the last expansion pack or stuff pack to run the game.

You need to have pets installed to play Does not matter if your using the seasons disk.. You always use the last game disk installed to play but they all have to be in there.

I don't think so. Go to the Sims offical website and see for yourself. They should have a detailed description of Seasons on there.
