So it looks that that the Republicans are trying to pull a Swift Boat on Presidential Hopefull Barack Obama.

They are claiming that he went to a Radical Fundamentalist Muslim school when he was growing up.

This is completely and totally untrue.

This is the best that the Repugs can do, and it's because they are afraid of Obama. (And they should be)

The truth is, yes, he did go to school in Indonesia, when he was a little kid, between ages 6 and 10, but it was not a religious Muslim school. It was a regular old public school. It's no different than someone who has participated in a foreign exchange student program.

These untruths were originally reported by a Republican Blog, Insight Magazine, and then picked up by the Bush Propaganda Network, AKA Fox News, without even trying to verify these claims.

The Associated Press and CNN, actually did RESEARCH and verified that the story is faker than a 3 dollar bill.

Yes, I know about this. Funny that they are so afraid of him AND Hillary that they put out this story and then Fox News (who is being soundly criticized by other respectable news networks for reporting a flat out lie) puts out a blurb that it came from the Hillary camp, another lie. And it's only the beginning. For the next two years everyone will have to sift through the garbage we'll hear about Obama and Hillary with a fine tooth comb to weed out all the slander and b.s. You'd think that the Republican Machine would know that most people with working brain cells are on to their character assassination game by now.

EDIT: Look at the number of people who believe Hillary started this rumor, just in your answers. Easy to see who gets all their news from Fox. If they'd check out other news sources once in a while they'd already know it isn't true and that Fox is being lambasted for starting yet another Democratic slander campaign.

Ron Paul Ron Paul receives his 13-25 % from in many cases independents, what number of people have you ever heard say some thing yet obama? If Ron Paul receives the gop nomination theres various of people which will vote for him only because he's honesty and in view that he's no longer Obama. I vote for him because it is vote i'd properly be pleased with. even as i'm on my lack of life mattress i'd be proud to understand I voted for a good human being, a straightforward human being and someone that ought to continually take care of the structure and liberty.

I don't suppoort Obama, but smear campaigns are never a good thing.

If the story is bogus I, too, would like to know how and by whom it was spread, and what (if any) checking they did first.

PS The latest reporting is that, whether the story is true or not, the reporting that the source of the questions was the Hillary Clinton camp is absolutely true.

The Republicans don;t bear him. They like him.

The KNOW a black man who can be accused of Muslim sympathies will NEVER be elected to the presidency.

They WANT him to run, as he will erode support for whomever the Democrats run.

Remember how Perot split the Republican vote during the Bush vs Clinton campaign? They're looking for Barak to do the same to the Democratic vote this time around.

Then if only parts of it is true- let it be. This is the time for details such as this one should be heard of- and the real truth- such as him getting on TV and explaining the finer details of this story about his childhood = actually does him a lot of good. It shows that he is cool under pressure, he doesnt get hot under the collar yelling " I am getting bad press Poor me Poor me.

Wow, some people have sooo little going on in their lives that they obsess about celebrities and politicians as if their opinion makes the slightest bit difference. On voting day, pull up voting records and see how they have voted. The rest is bologna.
